Philosophers uses the front-facing, TrueDepth camera to create facial overlays. Philosophers does not transmit or store any facial data. All facial data is used exclusively on device in real time.

At any time, users can revoke camera permissions in the Settings and Philosophers will no longer have access to camera data.

Additionally, all user-generated content is stored solely on device and through iCloud. User content and information is never uploaded to Philosophers servers or any third-party servers.
